Information we collect
Information you give us. When you sign up for text messages we collect your first name, mobile phone number and, if you provide it, your ZIP code. If you contribute through our contribution page, our payment processor collects the details federal law requires (name, address, occupation and employer).
Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and roughly where visitors are. Google Analytics uses cookies. You can block cookies in your browser or install Google's opt-out add-on.
How we use it
We use your mobile number only to send you the text messages you signed up for. We use contribution information to process contributions and to report them as federal election law requires. We use analytics information to improve the site.
Sharing
No mobile opt-in information will be shared with third parties.
We do not sell personal information. Contributor information is reported to the Federal Election Commission when the law requires it, and those reports are public.
